The Factory at Franklin

Now through Christmas Eve we will be open 7 days a week at our kiosk just inside the main entrance of The Factory at Franklin, 230 Franklin Road, Franklin, Tennessee. This is a great specialty shopping and entertainment experience, so be sure to check it out and stop by and see our display.

We'll also be at a craft show in Franklin next Saturday, December 4th, at the Legacy Crossing retirement community. Hours are 8:00am to 5:00pm.

Antique & Collectible Auction Update

Hope Road, Brodhead, Wisconsin. This is an outdoor auction held rain or shine, but as of right now it looks like shine!

October Craft Shows

Oops! We decided to book 2 more shows "Up North" - October 9th & 10th.

But first, down south, Saturday, October 2nd
Autumn Street Fair in downtown McMinnville, Tennessee (northwest of Chattanooga).

Then, Saturday, October 9th
Bessemer Pumpkin Festival in the gym at A.D. Johnston High School on US HWY 2 in Bessemer, Michigan (in the U.P. just east of Hurley WI & Ironwood MI).

Sunday, October 10th
Simek Recreation Center ice arena in Medford, Wisconsin.

And then in southern Wisconsin on Saturday, October 16th
Oktoberfest on the Courthouse lawn in Elkhorn, Wisconsin.

The Rest of September +

After a fun-filled Labor Day Weekend at the Fish Boin in Port Wing, Wisconsin, we took a small break and didn't go to a show on Saturday the 11th. Next weekend will find us hard at it again, though.

We'll be at two craft shows on Saturday, September 18th: The Fall Colorama at Saint Germain, Wisconsin; and Art in the Square in downtown Crandon, Wisconsin. Then on Sunday the 19th we'll be at the Downtown Grand Affair in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin. These will be our last shows in northern/central Wisconsin for some time.

The following weekend, Friday - Sunday, September 24th - 26th, we'll be at the Old Court Days craft show in beautiful and historic Madison, Indiana, on the Ohio River.

As a side note, on Saturday the 25th we will be selling some of our remaining antiques & collectables from our shop at a consignment auction near Brodhead, Wisconsin - more details to follow.

On Saturday, October 2nd we WILL NOT be at Cranberry Festival in Stone Lake, Wisconsin, for the first time in 20+ years!!! We're going in other directions, so watch for updates on our October schedule.

Beersheba Springs, Tennessee

On Saturday & Sunday, August 28th & 29th, we'll be set up on the grounds of the Beersheba United Methodist Assembly in Beersheba Springs, Tennessee for the 44th Annual Arts & Crafts Festival. You can get to Beersheba Springs easily off Interstate 24 at Monteagle, northwest of Chattanooga. This is a wonderful high quality show in a beautiful setting, so come out and join us if you can.

New location at RiverGate Mall

We are moving to a new location just off the food court in RiverGate Mall on Monday evening, June 7th, and we will be there through June 13th.

We are also set up now in CoolSprings Galleria, on the upper level just of the food court, next to Great American Cookies. We'll be here through June 16th.

RiverGate Mall

We're settled in at RiverGate Mall in Goodlettsville TN. Our location is outside Zales Jewelers - start toward the food court from Abercrombie & Fitch. We'll be open full mall hours every day through Sunday, June 13th - Monday through Saturday 10:00am to 9:00pm and Sunday Noon to 6:00pm.

We will also be open at CoolSprings Galleria in Franklin TN starting Friday, June 4th every day through Wednesday, June 16th - the hours are the same. Our location is on the upper level right off the food court.

Be sure to check us out at both malls if you can, because we'll have different items at the two locations.

End of May thru the Fourth of July

We are finishing up at the Janesville Mall in Janesville, Wisconsin on Monday, May 31st (Memorial Day). Regular mall hours on Friday, Saturday & Sunday, May 14th, 15th & 16th; then every day from Friday, May 21st through Monday, May 31st.

Madison, Indiana on the beautiful Ohio River Friday, Saturday & Sunday, May 28th, 29th & 30th for the Old Courthouse Days craft show.

Since the Opry Mills Mall craft show has been cancelled due to flood damage, we have 2 Nashville area venues in the first half of June:

Tuesday, June 1st through Sunday, June 13th we will have a kiosk at RiverGate Mall in Goodlettsville (Madison) Tennessee. We will be open regular mall hours for this 13 day period. RiverGate Mall is located at the corner of Rivergate Parkway and Gallatin Pike, between I-65 and Old Hickory Blvd, about 12 miles northeast of downtown Nashville.

Friday, June 4th through Wednesday, June 16th we will also have a kiosk at CoolSprings Galleria at Franklin (between Brentwood and Franklin) Tennessee. CoolSprings Galleria is on I-65 south of downtown Nashville at Exit 69 - Galleria Blvd. This is also a 13 day stretch, and we'll be open regular mall hours there as well.

And don't forget, June 10th through 13th is the CMA Music Fest (formerly Country Music Fan Fair) in downtown Nashville.

Back in Wisconsin, on Saturday, July 3rd we will be at the 10th annual craft show at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church on Montello Street in Montello, Wisconsin (Montello is the home of the largest tree of any variety in the state of Wisconsin).

And on Sunday, July 4th we will be at the craft show at Winnequah Park in Monona (adjacent to Madison) Wisconsin.

Later in July we'll be back in Tennessee for the craft show in Monteagle (in southeastern Tennessee, near Chattanooga) - keep checking back for updates and more craft shows.

Opry Mills Mall Craft Show CANCELLED

We received confirmation on Mother's Day that the 10 day craft show at Opry Mills Mall in Nashville, Tennessee from June 4th - 13th has been cancelled. The mall will not be ready to re-open by that time due to the flood damage.

We are looking for an alternate location in the Nashville area for that period, so keep checking here and on our website www.ourhousecraft.com for updates.

We are still waiting for word on the June 4th - 13th craft show at Opry Mills Mall, but it sounds like they are making great progress on the clean-up - at the mall and throughout the flooded area.


OUR THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS ARE WITH THE PEOPLE OF MIDDLE TENNESSEE AS THEY WORK TO RECOVER FROM THE FLOOD. If you would care to donate, The Red Cross, Salvation Army, and Second Harvest Food Bank in Nashville are just three of the many great organizations helping flood victims - just look them up on the web.

Opry Mills Mall, the location of our craft show scheduled for June 4th through 13th, appears to be among the hardest hit areas by the recent flooding. We have been in contact with the show promoter and are awaiting word on whether or not the show will be held as scheduled. Keep checking back for updates.

Meanwhile, our craft show on May 28th, 29th & 30th in Madison, Indiana is still on, and we look forward to seeing everyone there.

The show at the ice arena in Medford WI yesterday was a great show as usual.

This coming Friday, Saturday & Sunday (April 16th, 17th & 18th) we'll be at the WLUC-TV6 spring craft show at the Ruth Butler Building of the U.P. State Fairgrounds in Escanaba, Michigan.

MALL HOURS UPDATE

Easter is almost here!!!

From Thursday, March 25th through Saturday, April 3rd, we will be open full mall hours every day - 10am to 9pm Monday thru Saturday, and 11am to 6pm Sunday.

Painters' Frolic in Janesville WI

This Sunday, March 28th, Lisa will be set up and painting at the Painters' Frolic at the Pontiac Convention Center on Pontiac Drive just south of HWY 14 here in Janesville. The event is open to the public from noon to 5:00pm. Stop by and see her there, and stop in and see us at the Janesville Mall as well.

ONION PUB - LAKE BARRINGTON, ILLINOIS SPRING CRAFT SHOW

Saturday & Sunday, March 20th & 21st, we'll be set up at the spring craft show at THE ONION PUB & BREWERY, 22221 Pepper Road, Lake Barrington, Illinois 60010.

We are still planning on the WLUC-TV6 craft show in Escanaba, Michigan on April 16th, 17th & 18th - keep watching for details.

I Figured Something Out! It's Amazing!

I just figured out how to add Mini Etsy to this blog in like a minute and a half. Just a matter of pasting the code from Etsy into the box, and here it is. I've spent an hour trying to add the same thing to our website with no luck.

Anyway, we're settled in at the Janesville Mall, open every Friday & Saturday, most Sundays (starting February 28th), and all week before Easter, Mother's Day, and Memorial Day, which will be the end of this run at the mall. May 31st is our last day there, then we move south for awhile...

From June 4th through June 13th we'll be at an Arts & Crafts Show (ten days!) at Opry Mills Mall in Nashville, Tennessee. Watch for updates.

Back To The Janesville Mall

We are in the process of finalizing plans for our return to the Janesville Mall in Janesville, Wisconsin. We'll be back in the same location we had during the Christmas season, and our first day will be Friday, January 29th if all goes smoothly.
